Rocca delle Macìe

Ser Gioveto Toscano IGT 2000

75% Sangiovese, 15% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.  All grapes are from estate vineyards and the wine was aged for 12 months in French Allier barriques.

The Wine Spectator 91 points “A big and rich Sangiovese, with loads of fruit and velvety tannins.  Full-bodied and very long. Fresh and exciting.  An excellent red.  Best after 2004.”
