Layer Cake

Shiraz Barossa Valley 2006

Layer Cake is a new project from Jayson Woodbridge owner of Napa’s Hundred Acre label.  The name refers to the complex and rich flavors given to the wine by the soils of his Barossa Valley vineyards.  While this is a big rich Australian Shriaz there is remarkable elegance and balance tot he structure giving this a very fine wine character.
