The wines of Domaine Emilian Gillet are made by Jean Thévenet from his organic vineyards of 80+ year old vines.  The vineyard and winemaking style here is for the making of rich concentrated wines With purity of fruit.  Allen Medows aptly summarized Thévenet’s brilliance after his recent visit to the Domaine: “As my tasting notes clearly demonstrate, these wines possess not only the ability to improve, but to last for decades.  If you have never tasted the Thévenet wines, you owe it to yourself to give one a try.”
